My name is Lorna. I am 67 years old. Before I started the program at NHC, I had been suffering for over two years with a long list of persistent symptoms caused by a 2020 covid infection. I was an early patient at a Long Covid recovery clinic at a major hospital. They did massive amounts of bloodwork and offered some medications, many that had side effects that were sometimes worse than the symptoms I already had. Post covid complications completely derailed my life. I was often unable to get out of bed from the extreme fatigue. I had constant headaches, dizziness, nausea, intermittent fevers, body aches, insomnia, racing heart, tinnitus, and unrelenting gastrointestinal issues.
To say I was skeptical about the program at NHC before I started,  is an understatement. I still don’t really understand how it all works, but I decided to trust the process. I credit NHC with giving me my life back.
Almost all of my symptoms are gone, and those that persist are far less egregious and certainly less frequent,  and I continue to improve every day.
Joann Do is my practitioner,  and I cannot say enough about how safe and cared for she makes me feel. I trust her implicitly. She is kind and dedicated and skilled. I will forever be in her debt.
