Joann works with clients to feel healthy and comfortable in their bodies through good nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices. Empowering others to cultivate greater health and happiness in their own lives brings her joy and a sense of fulfillment.
A true wellness enthusiast, Joann is always continuing to learn new ways to improve her health and uplift that of those around her. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine, she earned her Holistic Health Coach Certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She has completed the Professional Level Training in Nutrition Response Testing and is working towards her Masters. Joann loves mentoring clients with varying needs to create personalized, realistic action plans and achieve their health-related goals.
Joann is also a 500 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher, and attributes practicing mindfulness in her daily life to making positive lifestyle changes that have resulted in a greater sense of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In particular, when she consciously focused her attention on the foods she ate, mostly preparing whole, nutrient-dense foods at home, she discovered the vital connection between her food choices and her overall well-being.
In her free time, Joann loves being active and outdoors, whether she is hiking, enjoying the beach, exploring somewhere new, or playing with her dogs Rogue and Bucky.
