The Natural Healing Center is very professional and provides outstanding service, with real results. The staff is... caring and personable. I have been amazed by the changes in my health and overall well being I have experienced. I have even gotten compliments on how refreshed and good my skin looks. I started my journey with topical steroid withdrawal(red skin syndrome)in August of 2022. My brown skin suddenly red... and raw, I was suffering from insomnia and a down to the bone itch. No doctors could help me and all they would give me were more steroids when that was the very thing I was withdrawing from. I was depressed, I could no longer do basic things. Not even hug my own children. My skin lost all elasticity, and I was so desperate for help but began to lose hope.I was doing it on my own until my sister and mother said enough was enough. I have been seeing Joann since mid September and I cannot even believe what I went through on my own and where my skin is now. Although I know I still have a long ways to go I am starting to feel like myself again. I am finally getting a good sleep, I can finally move my arms, I am no longer swollen, my red skin is finally turning it’s color again and my sinuses have cleared. I could not have done this without Joanns constant support and her ability to listen to my concerns and what I needed. When I lost hope of someone helping me Joann SAVED me. I cannot say enough positive things about Natural Healing Center. I've been going there for about 11 years now and... truly every time I follow protocol, I feel so much better. I'm amazed at how much I've healed over the years.Dr. Shannon was the first to help me get my ADHD under control, as well as help me have successful pregnancies and post birth experiences. I want to express my sincere thanks to Joann Do for all her help in helping me heal. After covid, I had been... experiencing issues with my health that I hadn't had before. I was scared, confused and in need of help. Though I was also seeking conventional medical care at the time, I trusted my gut and new I needed to take a natural approach to my healing. Joan and her team helped guide me to heal my body from the inside out, and literally within a few months, my labs were back to normal!Joan is incredibly kind, warm, and immediately quells any anxiety you may have with her peaceful demeanor. 06/28/2022From cancer to much better life…!This is my third review of the Natural Healing Center in Newport Beach,... California. I have been a client (patient) since September 2021.Everything started with an unfortunate bladder cancer diagnosis in June 2021. After the surgery I was recommended immunotherapy treatment to decrease chances of re-occurrence. Faith gave me a bit more time to research my options which led me to discovering the Natural Healing Center.After a very thorough exam and testing I adopted Dr. Shannon’s proposed treatment program.I have mentioned in my previous reviews that I had to make some strong adjustments to my diet and educate myself on how exactly the human body works. I was ignoring some things I already knew not realizing their importance. Of course, I learned a lot more than I was ever anticipating I would know about trying to stay healthy.I was only there to hopefully speed up my recovery, but after following the treatment for only 2-3 short weeks I couldn’t ignore the slew of positive side effects: The pains and aches which I was contributing to just getting older, often trips to the bathroom, poor sleep at night, slow start in the morning, the need of extra cup of coffee late afternoon, constant fatigue… All gone!About 4 months after I started working with Dr. Shannon, I did a thermal imaging scan. When we went over the images and findings, there was nothing mentioned about any issues in the bladder area. Everything seemed to be clear. Can’t tell you how pleased I was with the results.My wife came with me initially just for solidarity, but the positive changes for her were amazing. She was starting her morning with a daily sneezing attack. Just in a month or two her allergies were pretty much nonexistent. My daughter is now off her allergy medication for which she was doing liver screening to make sure the damage is acceptable (!?!)I just completed the 9-month treatment and gladly continuing with maintenance. Just a reminder: I walked in the Natural Healing Center as a post cancer surgery patient hoping to recover. Constantly in pain: hip, knees, lower back, back muscle spasms, neck, limping, almost crippled and trying to survive. Now I can work out almost as I could in my late teens, trying to do splits, flips and somersaults... Well, it was only 4 decades ago. 😊I would absolutely recommend the Natural Healing Center to anyone for any issues, big or small. They most likely will be able to help you. It certainly worked for myself, and my family and I look forward to continuing working with them.read more

For the past couple of years I have tried to seek medical care from various doctors but no one was able to identify my... issue, one of them even prescribed me anti-depressants because it might just "be a mental thing" Within a few minutes of my initial assessment, Shannon was able to provide insight into how my body was operating and what foods were throwing it out of wack. One thing that had been bothering me was a scar from surgery, after their initial evaluation, she did a light treatment that took less than two minutes and it made the phantom pain go away on the scar that was considered "healed". I have been trying to get to the root of my health issues and feel confident that I am taking the right step by going to the natural healing center. They took a scan of my heart and took baseline measurements of each valve to help gauge what foods support it to work with maximum efficiency. I look forward to updating my feedback once I have further progressed in working with them.read more

I would never see, let alone want to see, any other doctor besides Shannon. She aside from Jesus are the two main... reasons I am alive today. I mean that by no exaggeration. Everyone at Natural Healing Center is kind, thoughtful and positive. I always feel happier when I leave. I've been... going to them since April of 2021 and I recently (Sept 2021) had some standard blood work done and it all came back with great results, plus the nurse who took my blood pressure said I had the BP of a teenager (and I'm 59). In addition I recently had my teeth cleaned and I got the best report on the health of my gums that I've ever had. It all must be due to Natural Healing Center's program.read more

Dr. Shannon and her team at Natural Healing Center helped me back to health. I learned what foods and supplements were... harmful to my health and my body. I also learned the foods that fueled my body, gave me energy, and all around made me feel good. The knowledge I learned is priceless. It is knowledge I will keep and implement the rest of my life. Some of the effects of changing my diet and following Dr. Shannon's program were increased energy, happy/balanced mood, no more pain, restful sleep, and a strong immune system. I recommended Dr. Shannon to family and friends with chronic illnesses and they had similar results.My advice today is don't give up. Try Dr. Shannon and her team if all else has failed. I recently developed eczema on my inner elbows and behind my knees. I knew it was because of my eating habits and... stress, but I didn't know how to overcome it and heal my body. I was introduced to Joann Do from a good friend of mine. Joann is amazing and an extremely knowledgable practitioner. I was hesitant at first to trust the process being that this was my first time at a Natural Healing Center, but everything she advised and recommended all made sense for the greater good of my health. After just a few months of following her meal plan, adjusting to cleaner eating, and taking my supplements, my skin drastically improved. The flaring up and eczema subsided and most days I don't even itch anymore. In the rare instances that I start to itch, I can now easily identify what foods or stress caused it. Great facility and staff. I've had acid reflux for a long time. After visiting my family doctor and just told to take a... pill every day for the rest of my life I decided to seek a second opinion. I met with Shannon at Natural Healing Center where she tested me and found several foods that I need to eliminate from my diet. It hasn't been easy to basically learn how to read labels, but so far I've cut gluten and wheat out and instantaneously my acid reflux is gone. And best of all I'm not on any medication! I also tried out the red light bed. Figured if it's good enough for so many athletes it's good enough for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.read more

In August 2019 I was diagnosed with glaucoma and told by my ophthalmologist that I would have to put drops in my eyes... every day for the rest of my life or facing the possibility of eventually going blind. I was not able to tolerate the drops and started seeing Dr. Shannon in October. In February I went back to the ophthalmologist for a follow-up and was told I have NO glaucoma. When I first found Natural Healing Center, I was feeling so uncomfortable in my body. I was overweight, lethargic,... tired, and sedentary. I had a very unhealthy relationship with food. I thought I was eating relatively healthy, but soon learned I was engaging in practices that were not good for my body. I also was struggling with life-long digestive issues and sleep troubles.After beginning my work with Shannon, and adding the augmentation of services to include the BEMR and the Novothor, I can’t tell in adequate words the massive impact I’ve experienced in just 3 months. I’ve lost weight. I have lots of energy. I’ve begun being more physically active. My skin looks better. I’m overall way more healthy. I even tried the jet lag formula when I went overseas having been on the program for two months, and it totally worked. I have LOTS of people noticing me now. I’ve given out a half dozen referrals in the past two weeks. I have to work and stay committed, and when I do, the payoff is incredible. I have a spring in my step and a lightness I haven’t felt for years. My digestive issues are better. I continue to gain knowledge about making good choices that work for me.
